Winmark Wines

Located just ten minutes from what many consider to be the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, Winmark Wines basks in the spectacular scenery of the Broke side of the ridge. Danish for ‘field of vines’, Winmark celebrates the remarkable revival of a historic 130-acre property by Danish entrepreneur turned vigneron, Karin Adcock. Adcock, after founding the Pandora brand on Australian soil, turned her eye for detail and flair to winemaking on the property formerly known as Pooles Rock.

Having taken several years to build up vine quality and the wine range, the selection now consists of four incredible chardonnays, all 100 percent grown on the property and made by international winemaker, John Belsham. The wines now adorn the wine lists of many great Australian and Danish restaurants, and as distribution continues to grow, so will the enjoyment of chardonnay for wine lovers around the world.

Winmark Wines is celebrating its historic recognition from one of the world’s most respected critics, James Halliday, for its quality wines and by its peers for its cutting-edge style. The winery was shortlisted for Best New Winery in Australia in the revered 2024 Halliday Wine Companion. Winmark Wines and Art Gallery was also recently named Hunter Valley Cellar Door of the Year – a prized acknowledgement for Australia’s oldest and most visited wine region.

The estate, comprising some of the region’s oldest and most premium vineyards, is now entirely dedicated to premium and highly awarded chardonnay. A destination designed to connect guests with wine and architecture, visitors can also indulge in the tree park, perennial and rose garden and natural, historical landmarks. Luxury accommodation is also available, sleeping up to twenty-six guests across three homes.

Open seven days a week, visitors can explore the cellar door, art gallery, gift boutique, sculpture park, coffee cart and Rosie’s – a new event terrace for functions up to sixty guests. Winmark is a wine lovers wonderland – a place of remarkable beauty and unexpected discovery.
