Latitude 32 Wines

Latitude 32 Wines, located in the picturesque Hunter Valley, was founded in 2019 by Emma and David White, driven by a passion and a vision. The winery’s luxurious cellar door, which opened in April 2024, offers guests an immersive and indulgent experience. With twelve hectares of vines, Latitude 32 produces 4,000 dozen wines annually, focusing on classic Hunter Valley varietals such as shiraz, semillon and chardonnay, all with a modern twist that honours the history of each vintage.

The winery has revived historic Hunter Valley blends like ‘The Great White’, a blend of semillon and chardonnay, and ‘The Bro’s’, a blend of shiraz and pinot noir, catering to the evolving tastes of today’s wine enthusiasts. In an exciting move, Latitude 32 has introduced ‘The Enigma’, a groundbreaking Australian wine – a pinot noir vinified as a white wine but crafted to taste like a red. This unique wine, produced from forty-year-old pinot noir fruit, is a first for the country, employing a technique learned from Alsace.

Despite being a relatively new business, Latitude 32 Wines has already garnered impressive accolades, including a gold medal for its 2024 Casuarina Semillon at the Winewise Small Vigneron Awards, highlighting its exceptional quality and innovation in the wine industry.

Latitude 32 Wines stands out as a unique destination, guided by its mantra of “Through a New Lens” which challenges the status quo and sets new trends in the wine industry. This fresh perspective ensures every bottle resonates with a spirit of adventure and discovery. The winery has acquired some of the most sought-after heritage vineyards in the Hunter Valley, focusing on creating premium wines that bring joy and exceed expectations. The cellar door, located on-site, offers guests an immersive experience surrounded by vines and stunning views of the Broken Back Ranges. Latitude 32 Wines controls the entire process from grape to glass, prioritising sustainable viticulture practices to protect the land and produce exceptional wines.

The winery offers exclusive cellar door and vineyard experiences, such as the Dumplings & Wine Pairing, which matches five dumplings with five wines, and Breakfast in the Vines, where guests enjoy a luxury breakfast with sparkling wine amidst the beautiful vineyard. The Vignerons Adventure takes guests on a tour through the vines, a barrel tasting with the winemaker, and a tasting of finished wines paired with a gourmet lunch hamper. Latitude 32 also offers wines available for purchase exclusively at the cellar door and online, regular competitions with prizes and a self-guided vineyard walk to learn about sustainable practices.
