Originally established as a renowned Thoroughbred Horse Stud Farm, the Cellar Door at The Stables has given Gooree Park another dimension, showcasing its wines alongside its rich
equestrian heritage.

From thoroughbreds to signature wines, Gooree Park has spent decades producing champions and crafting award-winning wines, while continuing to operate its on-site horse stud facilities. Honouring its rich heritage, Gooree Park proudly continues its legacy as one of the country’s most respected thoroughbred studs, reflected through tasteful and artistic nods throughout the property. Nestled on the banks of the Cudgegong River between Mudgee and Gulgong, Gooree Park lies in one of the most celebrated wine regions in New South Wales, where rich vineyard soils and an ideal climate produce consistently high-quality grapes.

Acquired by Eduardo Cojuangco Jr in 1979, the vineyard began development in 1995, and under his direction Gooree Park has continued to diversify and thrive, expanding into Gooree Wagyu Beef while also offering farm stays and stud tours across its 3,000 hectares of land.

In the past year, Gooree Park has won the Silver Medal at the 2025 National Wine show for the 2021 Crowned Glory Chardonnay, and the Gold medal and trophy for Best Pinot Noir in the 2025 ICC NSW wine Awards with the 2023 Gooree Park Pinot Noir. The Cellar Door, housed in the former horse stables, provides a rustic yet elegant setting where guests can enjoy wine tastings and purchase both Gooree Park wines, Gooree Wagyu beef and a wide range of local produce.

The Thoroughbred wine range is named after some of Gooree’s most iconic racehorses, such Don Eduardo, Smart Missile, Desert War, and Crowned Glory. Additionally, Gooree Park offers Private Stud Tours that provide a behind-the-scenes look at its contemporary horse establishment and operations. For an even more immersive experience, guests are welcome to book a unique farm stay at one of Gooree’s houses or cottages.

Gooree Park also runs events on Derby Day, and Melbourne Cup, as well as hosting festivities at times like Easter, Gooree Sunsets and other special holidays.
