Gooree Park

Gooree Park Wines is an exciting new destination in the Mudgee region offering award-winning wine, picture-perfect landscapes and an equine experience to remember. On the June long weekend, the brand-new cellar door opening embodied the heart and soul of the winery. A day filled with wine sipping and warm, endless chatter, visitors left satiated and at ease. The cellar door boasts four stylish tasting stables, a sprawling lawn perfect for a picnic and premier food choices. From Mally’s Kitchen – an onsite food van serving Asian-inspired dishes and Gooree’s renowned Wagyu beef – to cheese platters and nibbles, there truly was something for every craving. The team extends its thanks to everyone who joined and are thrilled to welcome many more through the stable doors.

In the exciting chapter ahead, Gooree Park prepares to host a plethora of key racing events. On Saturday August 23rd, The Gooree Cup will delight visitors in a flurry of thrilling horse races, offering its worldclass wines and a guaranteed day of fun. With crowds of 4,000 to 5,000 expected, early bookings for the estate’s farm stay accommodation are highly recommended. Also, returning by popular demand are the Derby Day (November 1st) and Melbourne Cup Day (November 4th) functions. Join the party in style by signing up to the Winner’s Circle Wine Club to access the VIP marquee on Cup Day.
