PETERSONS OF MUDGEE
PETERSONS OF MUDGEE
For more than forty years, the Petersons family have been creating award-winning boutique wines, earning a deserved reputation based on quality and excellence. In 1996, the family expanded its legacy by establishing Petersons of Mudgee, a new venture in the heart of the renowned, highly acclaimed Mudgee wine region. Perched among rolling hills and lush vineyards, the cellar door coaxes guests into a state of relaxation and enjoyment, offering visitors a true country hospitality experience.
Diving into Petersons of Mudgee means opening yourself up to a superb selection of wines, including robust reds, crisp whites, elegant rosés and a range of sparkling wines. The winery spans sixty-five hectares under vine, and under the guidance of operations manager, Jamie, and his team, the focus remains on consistency, balance and expression across all varietals. Whether you’re seeking a bold shiraz, a refreshing semillon, or something a little more unique, the estate offers dazzling delight for every palate.
However, Petersons of Mudgee is not just about the wine, it’s about the setting. The cellar door, often heralded as one of the most charming within the region, offers a warm, cottage-like atmosphere perfect for intimate tastings and moments of warmth. Surrounded by serene gardens and sweeping views, it’s an ideal spot for a picnic with a glass of your favourite wine in hand, or something completely new. The peaceful tranquillity and natural beauty of the land on which it sits makes Petersons of Mudgee a standout location for both visitors and wine enthusiasts.
Whether you’re planning an educational day of wine tasting, a relaxing afternoon in the gardens, or simply just looking for a pleasurable time in an amazing location, this estate offers unique and memorable experiences. It’s a destination where quality, tradition, and the beauty of the landscape come together in every glass.
